Description
GENERAL OBJECTIVE:
To train and capacitate women to be multipliers in the Brazilian Women's Water Ambassadors Academies, aiming to increase the number of people involved in citizen actions, with immediate results for the sustainable consumption of water and preservation of riparian forests that protect rivers, lakes in order to strengthen the ecological awareness of women, children and young people regarding the care and responsibilities with water and environmental protection.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE:
- To create and develop methods of training for women to be multipliers and disseminators of sustainable actions for the preservation of water resources, aiming to bring access to information and practical measures, aimed at conscious consumption of water for present and future generations;
- To mobilize the female population of PORTO ALEGRE and metropolitan region, local and regional organizations, the Environment Secretariat, City Hall, for the recovery and recovery of riparian forests for the preservation of local ecosystems;
- Encourage and strengthen women's awareness of the importance of acting as Water Ambassadors for the propagation of sustainable actions;
- Multiply the project in all regions of Brazil.
