Empowered Women Leading Business
BPW Business Incubator ‘Women in Business’ Training & Mentoring Project
provides FREE assistance to support the business skills and growth potential of women in new or existing home based, micro, small businesses operating in the Perth metropolitan area and regional Western Australia.
Project participants will benefit from FREE access to an extensive range of business support provided via face/face, online webinars, workshops, forums, mentoring, helpline, networking, Friends of Belmont BEC membership, BPW Women in Business newsletters, opportunities, and access to the eBook 1001 Business Tips from 101TM Women in Business from around the globe.
BPW Business Incubator ‘Women in Business’ Training & Mentoring Project is delivered by Belmont Business Enterprise Centre Inc. (Belmont BEC) and supported by the Australian Federation Business and Professional Women WA Division (BPW WA), BPW Business Incubator, 1001 Business Tips from 101TM, designedge Innovation Festival, supporters and volunteers.

Carol Hanlon has over 50yrs experience in the Australian & global small business, small business & fashion Industries across many business sectors. Carol's small business achievements have been recognised with local, state, national & global awards since the 1970’s, with creating over 45 major projects since 1990’s assisting small business.
Carol established her own fashion label in 1974 in Geelong Victoria, successfully designed, manufactured, wholesaled, retailed her own fashion label ‘Carol Hanlon’ for 20yrs. Carol’s label was stocked in boutiques across Australia & overseas.
Since 1994, Carol established not-for-profit organisations in WA, Belmont Business Enterprise Centre Inc. (Belmont BEC) & the Textile Clothing Footwear Resource Centre WA Inc. (TCFWA, TCF Australia, TCF Global) in 1998. Carol & her two NFP’s have created many projects assisting over 35,000 small businesses in Australia & globally; Delivers ‘women in business’ training & mentoring across Australia & globally through the BPW Business Incubator. Carol has been recognised as Best Metropolitan BEC in Australia; Best National BEC Manager; past Local Government councillor; Accredited Business Facilitator; Accredited Company Director; ‘100 Champions of WA’; inducted WA Women’s Hall of Fame; Awarded ‘Empowering Women in Community in Australia’; APEC Philippines ‘Women Icons of APEC’ Award; Women Economic Forums, India ‘Iconic Women Creating a Better World for All’ Award; The Hague Netherlands ‘Exceptional Women of Excellence’ Award; ‘Woman of Decade in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Women Economic Forum, WA; Past State President Business & Professional Women WA; Awarded Rotary International ‘Paul Harris Fellow’; named ‘Top 50 Small Business Leaders in Australia’, Inside Business Magazine.
