Nous entendons souvent dire que l'éducation est une arme puissante et une clé du succès. Etudier dans un environnement meilleur et amélioré est également très important, en particulier pour les enfants handicapés ou souffrant d'un handicap. C'est pour cette raison que BPW au Bénin s'est lancé dans un projet de construction d'un dortoir adéquat pour un centre d'enfants aveugles afin d'améliorer leurs conditions de vie et d'apprentissage. Il s'agit d'un centre d'éducation qui compte environ 120 élèves âgés de 3 à 20 ans. Certains d'entre eux vivent dans l'internat du centre qui a été construit sans tenir compte de leur handicap. BPW au Bénin a donc lancé ce projet important et demande à toute personne de bonne volonté ou philanthrope de l'aider à réaliser ce projet au profit de ces enfants handicapés.

We often hear that education is a powerful weapon and a key to success.Studying in a better and improved environment is also very important, this especially for disabled children or children with handicap. For that reason , BPW in Benin embark on a project to build adequate dormitory for a blind children center in order to improve upon their leaving and learning conditions. It is an education center with about 120 students aged between 3 and 20 years old. Some of them live in the center's boarding school which was built without taking into account their handicap. BPW in Benin therefore has started this important project and is requesting any person of good will or philantropist to help it achieve the projet for the benefit of this handicaped children.

les problèmes auxquels sont confrontés les populations africaines en général, les enfants, surtout les filles et les personnes vivant avec un handicap en particuliers sont difficiles et cruciaux. Pour essayer de les soulager en partie et permettre à ces enfants de poursuivre leur étude dans de meilleures conditions, BPW au Bénin a entrepris ce projet de construction de dortoir pour le centre des aveugles de Cotonou. Nous sollicitons toutes les bonnes volontés.

DEAR BPW MEMBERS of the world,
the problems facing African populations in general, and children, especially girls, and people living with disabilities in particular, are difficult and crucial. To try to alleviate some of these problems and enable these children to pursue their studies in better conditions, BPW in Benin has undertaken this project to build a dormitory for the Cotonou center for the blind.
