The Job Readiness Workshop aimed to equip participants with real life skills and knowledge to be successful in getting a job and excel in the work world.
Facilitators with expertise in areas such as coaching and training were sourced within the BPW St. Kitts group to make presentations on the following areas:
Job seeking skills such as resumes building was done to help the participants create or improve their resumes to effectively showcase their skills, experiences, and qualifications to potential employers.
Soft skills and professionalism such as professional etiquette, behavior in the workplace, time management and effective communication to be successful in a professional environment.
Interview Skills such as how to prepare for job interviews and answer questions; guidance on how to dress and present oneself professionally. Mock interviews with professionals to give participants real life experience and guidance on areas to improve.
